Greg Sheridan discusses his new book God is Good for You

As a valued subscriber event, you’re invited to join The Weekend Australian's Editor Michelle Gunn and The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan for a thought-provoking discussion about Greg’s latest book, God is Good for You, and the relevance of Christianity in modern society.

Subtitled A Defence of Christianity in Troubled Times, Greg’s book is a topical exploration of the decline of Christianity in Australia and much of the West and the implications of this for Christians and wider society, where the faith that once underpinned our institutions and laws is no longer held by the majority. His analysis includes a series of fascinating interviews about religion with Tony Abbott, John Howard, Kim Beazley, Kevin Rudd, Peter Costello, Bill Shorten and Malcolm Turnbull.

Drawing on his vast experience as a journalist and intimate knowledge of the workings of political and state institutions both in Australia and overseas, Greg argues passionately, warmly and above all convincingly that despite its apparent decline, Christianity remains vital for our personal and social well-being.
