This exclusive subscriber after-hours event at the Art Gallery of New South Wales is hosted by Christopher Allen, The Australian’s national art critic, in which he joins Peter Raissis, Curator of European Drawings and Prints and the gallery’s exhibition curator, on a panel discussion.
Drawn from the unparalleled collections of the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg and including works by Cézanne, Matisse and Picasso, this remarkable exhibition traces the seismic shifts in European painting from the beginning of the 20th century and encapsulates a defining moment in art history.
