Plus Movies Offer Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
- The Plus Movies offer (Offer) is a benefit available as part of The Australian Plus and +Rewards rewards programs which is offered to you by Nationwide News Pty Ltd through its affiliation with third party retail partners.
- Plus Movies is available to all eligible The Australian Plus and +Rewards members
- Access to Plus Movies is subject to the terms and conditions of The Australian Plus and +Rewards member benefit programs.
- Plus Movies will be accessible from theaustralianplus.com.au and plusrewards.com.au.
- You acknowledge that Nationwide News Pty Ltd is entitled, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, amend, add, or remove any part of these terms of use and to change, amend, include, or delete any terms of the Offer at any time without notice.
2. Offer
- The Australian Plus and +Rewards members may purchase cinema tickets through Plus Movies (Tickets).
- Payment for Tickets must be made as directed by Nationwide News Pty Ltd and/or Choose Entertainment Ltd, trading as Choovie (Choovie).
- A Ticket entitles an individual admission to the chosen movie, at the chosen time and venue as selected through the Plus Movies platform. For avoidance of doubt Tickets are only valid for the session selected.

Tickets are:
- Non-refundable
- Not transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash or other gift products.
- Not valid in conjunction with other offers.
- Not valid for group bookings, special events, movie marathons or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated.
- Multiple Tickets purchased together does not guarantee that those Tickets will be seated together.
- It is the responsibility of the Ticket holder to redeem the Ticket on or before expiry.
- Lost or expired Tickets will not be extended, replaced, or exchanged for cash.
- Nationwide News Pty Ltd and/or Choovie may suspend or terminate any The Australian Plus or +Rewards member access to Plus Movies at any time if it suspects any misuse of the Offer, or if The Australian Plus or +Rewards member breaches these terms and conditions.
- A surcharge applies for premium sessions and seating concepts including but not limited to 3D, Vmax, Xtreeme, Vpremium, Vjunior or Dolby Atmos, Samsung Onyx sessions, recliners or daybeds. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost.
- If you select a movie at Hoyts, Event, Village, Palace or Readings cinemas you will receive vouchers. The vouchers are valid for a period of 6-12 months. If you wish to secure your seat, please visit the cinema's website and use the barcode Ticket you have been sent to secure your seat. Otherwise, simply show your Voucher at the door (phone or printout).
3. How to redeem
- Plus Movies is accessible from theaustralianplus.com.au and plusrewards.com.au.
- Eligible The Australian Plus and +Rewards members may purchase Tickets by first selecting the Plus Movies tile, opening the Plus Movies platform and following the prompts for the venue, movie, session time, and Ticket quantity.
- Utilise Plus Movies by creating a Choovie account as directed, by registering your email address, first name and last name.
- Eligible The Australian Plus and +Rewards members who purchase Tickets will receive a barcode which is the Ticket or voucher (Barcode Ticket).
- The Barcode Ticket can be either printed or used in its electronic format from a smart phone.
- Not all purchases made via Plus Movies represent a secured seat. If a Ticket is purchased for Hoyts, Event, Village or Readings cinemas, a secured seat can be purchased by visiting the relevant cinema’s website and using the Barcode Ticket to secure the seat. Otherwise, simply show the Barcode Ticket at the door (electronic format or printout).
- For Hoyts, Event, Village, Palace or Readings cinemas, each voucher is redeemable for one admission ticket. Refer to the voucher T&C’s for restrictions. Each voucher is valid until the expiry date indicated and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced. If redeemed at the cinemas website both the voucher number and PIN are required to be entered. Booking fees will apply.
4. Cancellations and Refund Policy
- Once a Plus Movies order and Ticket has been confirmed it cannot be altered or cancelled, and refunds will not be provided for change of mind or customer error at the time of booking. The Australian Plus or +Rewards member and Ticket holder is responsible for taking care to review the order to ensure that all details are correct before completing the payment process. If an incorrect email address is provided during registration, movie Tickets cannot be delivered.
- On rare occasions a cinema may cancel or change a planned movie session to which Plus Movie Tickets have been sold. While Nationwide News Pty Ltd and Choovie are not responsible for cinema cancellations or changes, Choovie will use all reasonable endeavours to provide notice of cancellations and changes prior to the planned session time and offer a full refund.
- If there are any technical issues with the Plus Movies booking platform, Choovie will use all reasonable steps to honour the Tickets.
5. Activity Specific Terms & Conditions
- In addition to these terms and conditions, any Ticket purchased is subject to such further terms and conditions as may apply in respect of the particular Ticket purchased as disclosed elsewhere during the Ticket purchasing process.
- Please note that venue-specific terms and conditions apply to each individual cinema location. This includes, but is not limited to, entry policies, health and safety regulations, and any other rules or policies that are at the discretion of the venue. We strongly recommend checking with the specific cinema location for detailed information regarding their terms and conditions before your visit.
6. Personal Information
- Nationwide News Pty Ltd and Choovie collect personal information and handle all such information in accordance with their respective Privacy Policies available at https://preferences.news.com.au/privacy and https://www.chooviegroup.com/privacy-policy
